“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” Saint Augustine
Mission Project participants love to travel. Compass Points, their travel club, meets regularly to learn about destinations, choose where to go next and plan one or two trips a year.
Cheering the Red Sox in Chicago, cruising to Cozumel, taking in the sights at the Omaha (Neb.) Henry Doorly Zoo — the participants travel with enthusiasm and joie de vivre.
A favorite destination is the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colo. Against the stunning backdrop of Rocky Mountain National Park, participants enjoy hiking, doing arts and crafts and seeing wildlife up close.
Parents who volunteer for Compass Points trips to ensure safety and organization have as much fun as the participants.
