Corey and the Mission Project
Corey's Mom died. A case worker told his aunt about the Mission Project. Hear Corey describe his experience becoming a leader in an independent living community for IDD adults.
Corey describes his home, his hobbies, his work, and his friends in the Mission Project community for developmentally disabled adults living independently with a bit of help, when needed. He says: "You live once. You ought to fulfill your life, your dreams...without the Mission Project I wouldn't have a life."

Volunteer
Volunteers are a key element at The Mission Project. Families of participants provide thousands of volunteer hours to support programs, operations, and resource building. But external volunteers also have an important role to play. Not only do they fill necessary holes, both in time and skills, but they also meaningfully contribute to the concept of life in community--expanding participant contacts, increasing awareness, and contributing to sustainability. There are many ways to volunteer for The Mission Project. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our form below or contact Michelle Niedens at dniedens@outlook.com to get connected!
