The Third Annual Run for the Roses Kentucky Derbal Gala was held Saturday May 1st, 2010, 2:30 to 6:00 PM on the Top Floor of the InterContinental Kansas City At the Plaza Hotel.
Those attending sipped complimentary mint juleps, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, saw live broadcasts of the races, and bid on silent and live action items: prizes were given for picking the race winner, best hat and best dressed couple.
By all accounts, this was the largest and finest Derby event ever! Those of you who attended, we thank you. Look for more on this event in coming weeks.
