Aktion Club!
Community is more than a place to live - it's being involved with people. The Aktion Club is a Kiwanis-sponsored community-service group for adult citizens who live with a disability. The Aktion Club focuses on:
- developing initiative and leadership skills
- serving the community
- being involved in society as a whole, and
- demonstrating through their actions the dignity and value of citizens living with disabilities.
It's also about having fun - members play as hard as they work. In these pictures, Aktion Club members Corey, Ander, and Amelia get to check out one of the City's fire trucks during the annual Aktion Club Summer Picnic.
